Solution architecture and development

We served as the technology partner to the design agency Art & Mechanical to create a new website for Pine Project, a non-profit dedicated to helping people connect with nature. Our mission was to transform a beautiful design vision into a powerful, easy-to-use digital platform that the client could manage autonomously.

The challenge

Pine Project needed a new website that was both visually stunning and highly flexible, but they faced two key constraints: a limited budget and a need for complete independence. The organization required a solution that their small team could easily update and evolve without relying on ongoing technical support.

Our role and solution

We partnered with the Art & Mechanical team to provide the strategic and technical expertise needed to bring the project to life.

CMS architecture

We began by creating a robust content architecture, including a complex system of taxonomies that gave the site a clear, logical structure and allowed dynamic post display. This served as the foundation for a custom-built WordPress CMS that was tailored to the client’s unique needs.

Component-driven development

We meticulously organized the design library and developed a user-friendly page builder based on Art & Mechanical designs. This approach provided the Pine Project team with a set of reusable building blocks, empowering them to create and edit pages autonomously while preserving design integrity.

By focusing on a structured architecture and empowering the client with the right tools, we delivered a platform that allows the Pine Project team to update their content and grow their digital presence with confidence.
