NCTA Corporate Site

As a long-standing partner of NCTA, we were brought on to lead the second major redesign of their digital platform. In this project, we helped the NCTA transition from their existing Drupal site by transforming their Figma designs into a fully functional and flexible WordPress CMS. Our approach focused on a component-based architecture to ensure design consistency, streamline development, and empower the client with a flexible CMS.

Component-driven development

We constructed and executed a robust design-to-build production timeline: breaking down flat page-oriented designs into reusable and scalable React and WordPress components. Components were centralized into a comprehensive Figma library, serving as the core building blocks for the NCTA site as well as future satellite properties.

Custom CMS integration

Leveraging the Figma component library, we architected and built a custom WordPress CMS. This involved architecting custom content types, custom fields, and flexible page-builder sections that directly corresponded to their respective Figma components. This approach provided the ideal balance between site-wide design consistency and the client’s need for content flexibility.

Efficient product management

We managed the project from initial scoping to final delivery, overseeing a team of designers and developers. Our process included defining project requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all technical milestones were met on time and within budget.
