LittleBox's Role

Web development

We partnered with the design agency Art & Mechanical to develop a new website for Outsider. Our mission was to translate a visually rich, component-driven design into a robust digital platform that was high-performing and easy for the client to manage.

The Challenge

Outsider’s brand vision required a website with a dynamic and highly visual experience, featuring a significant amount of video content. The key challenge was to deliver a platform that was not only aesthetically impressive but also exceptionally fast and simple for their team to update. We needed to create a system that could handle a large volume of media without compromising performance or the user experience.

Our role and solution

We worked closely with Art & Mechanical to transform their creative vision into a seamless and efficient technical reality.

Component-based CMS architecture

We began by meticulously deconstructing the designs into a library of reusable components. This strategic approach served as the foundation for a custom WordPress CMS, ensuring the content structure was perfectly aligned with the visual layout. The result was a flexible and intuitive backend that empowers the Outsider team to easily create and edit pages.

Performance-first development

To address the challenge of heavy video content, we implemented a series of performance optimizations. We focused on efficient media delivery and a streamlined frontend architecture, ensuring the site remained fast and responsive, even with a high volume of media. This provided a smooth and engaging user experience for all visitors.

Key outcomes

The final product is a powerful and visually stunning website that perfectly reflects the Outsider brand. By building a high-performance platform on a component-based architecture, we delivered a flexible solution that is not only easy to update but also provides a dynamic and engaging user experience.
